Koh-I-Noor Charcoal & Graphite
Koh-I-Noor Charcoal & Graphite Online in India
Graphite and charcoal are not interchangeable. Graphite is grey with a slight sheen and sits on the paper; charcoal is a true matte black that bites into the tooth and lifts back off with a kneadable eraser. Charcoal will always go darker than graphite, and graphite will always hold a finer line.
Woodless, sticks and powder
Koh-I-Noor's Progresso woodless pencils are a solid graphite core in a thin lacquer shell, so you can work with the side of the pencil for broad tone instead of just the tip. Sticks and powder are for covering ground fast, blocking in large tonal masses before you refine with a pencil. Fix the work or it will offset onto whatever you stack on top.
Complete the setup
Add a kneadable eraser and blending stumps from sharpeners and erasers, protect with a workable fixative, and compare with General's, Nitram and Cretacolor. Browse all charcoal and graphite or the complete Koh-I-Noor range.
