General's Artist Supplies

General Pencil Company has been making drawing materials in the United States since 1889, and it remains a family firm using cedar from managed forests. The charcoal pencils are the reason most people find the brand: they hold a point far better than a stick, so you can work detail into a charcoal drawing without switching medium.

Our General's range covers charcoal pencils, white charcoal, Kimberly graphite, layout and sketching kits, plus The Masters brush cleaner and preserver.
