Prismacolor coloured pencils in India

Prismacolor Premier is the soft-core, wax-based pencil that made burnishing a standard technique. The core is soft enough to lay down opaque colour in one pass and to blend pencil into pencil without a solvent.

What to know before buying

Premier is wax-based, not water-soluble — it will not dissolve into a wash, and that is the point. Layer light to dark, then burnish with a colourless blender or a light pencil to fill the tooth of the paper. The soft core breaks if dropped, so treat the tins carefully.

Sets run from small ranges up to the 132 and 150 packs, which cover the full spectrum including the greys and skin tones that are hard to mix from a smaller set.
