PanArt
A brush set is only as good as its worst brush, which is why most sets are a compromise. PanArt's answer is to build the case into the product: the sets stocked here come in zipper cases, roll-ups and fabric wallets, so the brushes are protected between sessions instead of rattling loose in a drawer. A brush dies at the ferrule, not the tip, and the commonest cause of an early death is being stored bent.
What we stock
Brush sets in cases
The 13-piece sets come two ways, with a zipper case or a roll-up case, and cover rounds, liners, washes and hakes in a single buy. The Mix Brush Set of 5 arrives in a fabric case and spans rounds, flats and filberts. The Schola Grey line runs a Mix Set of 7 and a Round Set of 4, alongside a Round Set of 5. These suit students, beginners and anyone who wants a working spread of shapes without assembling it brush by brush.
Table easels
A beechwood table top easel in A3 and a tilted table easel at 16 inches. Table easels matter more than people expect: working flat distorts what you see, because you are viewing the paper at an angle but drawing as though you were square to it. Even a small tilt corrects that.
Where PanArt sits
These are kit-and-case sets rather than open-stock professional brushes. If you already know which shapes you reach for, buying singles from our own handmade Kolkata range will serve you better and last longer. If you are still working that out, a cased set is the cheaper way to find out. The brush buying guide explains what each shape actually does before you commit.
