Lyra has made pencils in Nuremberg since 1806 and now sits within the FILA group alongside Daler Rowney and Canson. The range is strongest in drawing: Rembrandt Polycolor colour pencils, Art Design graphite, and the graphite crayons that let you block in large tonal areas with the flat of the stick rather than the point.
