Lana Watercolour Paper

Lana paper is made at the Docelles mill in the Vosges, one of the oldest working paper mills in France. Lanaquarelle is its 100% cotton cylinder-mould watercolour sheet, gelatin sized, and it sits between the heavy tooth of Arches and the smoother European sheets: enough texture to hold a granulating wash, enough surface strength to lift colour back out without tearing.
