Faber-Castell

Faber-Castell has been making pencils near Nuremberg since 1761 and is still run by the founding family. Polychromos is the range that matters most to artists here: an oil-based colour pencil, so it does not bloom with wax the way softer pencils do, layers without filling the tooth of the paper too quickly, and stays workable under solvent.
