Essdee Lino Printing

Essdee is the British printmaking brand most Indian art schools standardise on, and SoftCut is the reason. It is a grey-blue synthetic block that cuts like warm butter, needs no heating, and does not crumble the way traditional battleship lino does in a cold room. Traditional lino gives a crisper edge; SoftCut gets a beginner printing on day one.
