Strathmore Artist Paper

Strathmore Paper and Pads Online in India

Strathmore has made artist paper in the United States since 1892 and numbers its pads by grade. The 200 Series is practice paper, the 300 Series is the student grade and the 400 Series is the recommended grade for finished work. The pads we stock cover watercolour, smooth Bristol, black canvas paper and newsprint.

Which one you need

Choose 400 Series cold pressed watercolour for washes you want to keep. Choose 300 Series smooth Bristol for pencil, ink and marker detail, and the black canvas paper for acrylic and oil studies with bright colour over a dark ground. The 200 Series newsprint pad is for gesture drawing and warm-ups where you go through sheets quickly.
