Sonnet is made by Nevskaya Palitra in St Petersburg, the same works that produces White Nights. It is deliberately the step below: a student range built on the same pigment knowledge but with more filler and simpler pigments, which makes it a sensible first set for anyone who does not yet want to spend artist-grade money per pan.
