Daniel Smith Watercolours

Daniel Smith Watercolours Online in India

Daniel Smith watercolours are hand poured in Seattle and are among the most heavily pigmented available. The range is best known for its PrimaTek colours, ground from genuine minerals and semi-precious stones, and for granulating earths that separate into texture as the wash dries.

Which one you need

The Extra Fine Essentials and PrimaTek introductory sets are the way to try the range in small tubes. The hand poured half pan boxes of 12 and 24 are ready-to-paint palettes for the studio or travel. The Master Artist sets are palettes chosen by painters, including Alvaro Castagnet, Michael Solovyev and Milind Mulick, if you want to paint with the colours a particular artist relies on.

Complete the setup

Granulating colour needs cotton paper to show its texture: Arches, Saunders Waterford or Fabriano. Add a soft mop brush and compare Winsor & Newton and Schmincke. Browse all watercolour paints.
